Kitchen Makeover Part 1

Hello lovelies!  I began my kitchen makeover a few weeks ago by painting over the ugly red paint that had been there since we moved in 3 1/2 years ago.  I went with Restoration Hardware’s silver sage color and I LOVE IT!  My kitchen seems bigger and sooo much brighter!  I decided to only paint the red walls sage, and keep the others white, which makes it more of an accent color.  I’m sort of over the accent wall look, but what I did in the kitchen doesn’t really have that accent wall feel.  The non sage walls are just bright, clean & white.

I apologize for not creating a true room makeover by providing before and after shots.  I didn’t have a camera prior to painting and I was almost positive that I had “before” pictures of my kitchen from when we bought the house, so I didn’t worry about borrowing someone else’s camera before I started.  I scoured every external hard drive in our house and have found zero “before” pictures of my kitchen.  😦 I guess you’ll just have to take my word for it…the red was way too much and sooo NOT cute!  So here’s what I’ve done so far.

It’s not finished yet so stay tuned for part 2, coming soon.
